Premarital/Marital Counseling involves an initial Prepare Enrich assessment. Each individual will complete an assessment by answering questions based on the individual’s background. The questions are tailored to include questions about age, children, current living arrangements, and more.
Each couple will receive a customized Couple Report that shares information on relationship dynamics, commitment levels, personality, spiritual beliefs, and family systems. With the use of the assessment the counselor is able to help you build skills that will help you have a greater understanding of yourself and your partner, and this can lead to less disagreeable moments or arguments. You can gain skills that give you the confidence to talk about difficult topics. The PREPARE ENRICH program can help you learn how to effectively communicate with your partner. With the use of this program, we aim to help you discover ways to openly communicate your needs and increase intimacy by being able to be heard and understood.
